The clock is ticking but the time seems to have stopped. At a time when the idea of travel is suspended, Marie, the designer of Louise Misha, had to find inspiration otherwise. She took the opportunity of the lockdown to delve into her past. Like a Proust madeleine, her childhood photos bring back a collection of memories, a source of her inspiration.

A sweet return to childhood

Born in 1983, a few kilometers from Paris, the “little” Marie remembers the smell of her wooden classroom table, her college choir years, her walks in the Luxembourg Garden and her holidays in the countryside. She also remembers her father showing her impressionist paintings or even the studio of Suzanne Valadon, a french woman painter whom she admires for her avant-gardism. Photo after photo, each memory inspires the soul of this somewhat special new collection. If you had come to expect to travel around the world through exotics collections, this time it’s a special one because it returns to our French origins as never before.

An obvious name

The new collection is designed from Paris, inspired from memories mainly lived in Paris… It quite naturally came to our mind to name the new collection FROM PARIS and A RETURN TO THE ROOTS as subtitles. Marie’s roots so, but also Louise Misha’s roots because don’t forget it, we are located at the heart of Paris, a few steps from Le Marais and the Opéra Bastille. So you’ll find in this new collection the essentials of the parisians wardrobe revisited with our bohemian-chic touch. And because we love Paris so much we decided to show our magnificent setting with some backstages pictures.
